Gameplay
Signalis offers a basic gameplay experience. is a tribute to the first classical survival video games like silent hill and resident evil. It's a top down view, pixel, art, survival shooter with limited melee capabilities and the limited amount of items to help you navigate across the globe.
It is a sci fi only single-player narrative with a storyline that drives the drama to life with a variety of weak melee weapons forcing the combat fight to take place at weapons distance, like shotguns and pistols.
It is made up of interconnected rooms that you explore and find keys or items that help solve the challenges by combining objects in safe rooms allowing you to carry the tools you need in order to survive.
You will encounter enemies that can be pushed when you don't have ammo in the pistols, or shotguns found in the game world while trying to make sense of why and how you're doing the things you do in this mysterious planet.
The game starts off straightforward and easy, however, you will find out that the difficulty increases dramatically when the gameplay progresses, at times, to the point of exhaustion, with enemies that will come back to life as they emerge from vents and floors, and more, and simple, straightforward, and enjoyable boss fights that are claustrophobic and squeezing.
I would say that it's not the game's fault per say however, if you advance through the game a lot in the course of two or three hours in and then you take a break for a few days coming back to the game can be a challenge since the game doesn't provide you with the information you're supposed to do next and with the map being a little hard to understand beginners may be put off initially, but use guidelines and exercise your brain muscles. Trust me, the pain is worth it.
signalis game of the enemy is a bit limited for my taste However, it was developed by 2 people and I am able to accept it because what's there is mostly simple, classical, and effective use of survival horror enemy game design.

The story is set in a dystopian world, told in a manner that makes you contemplate the end and significance of the story rather than just complete the game, and then be explained what the story is about. You are meant to ponder it.

I personally found the storytelling mechanisms of the female employees and the male and female representation through the machines within a supposedly communist style work environment interesting.
I won't go much in the details to keep spoilers out, so let me just note that this isn't an easy story to digest and leave you to interpret, in my opinion, the meaning of things because it's not grounded in logic or reality as such.
Graphics/Performance
In terms of graphics and performance, Signalis the game I won't be doing an in-depth analysis because it performs good and looks great due to its unique style of art. It runs efficient and beautifully on any device that you are able to play on. I really hope that it will come to mobile devices such as iPhone and Android in the near future.
I would recommend watching this on an OLED Tv or Monitor because it looks beautiful.

Since it is primarily done by two people, I believe it's sound production is straightforward, yet really effective at creating a claustrophobic adrenaline rush but with a calmness to makes the entire experience an exciting rollercoaster ride of survival terror.
Achievements/Fan Service
On the achievements side, the game is actually easy to get all the achievements and according to trueachievements.com, you can get them all with an 8 to 10 hours. You can even finish it in less time if you are looking to speed-run it.
On the side of fan service to things , the anime Japanese inspired characters have cute, gorgeous, big eyes. The feminine character is portrayed in the art style and I find it fitting and satisfying. Thus, I give the video a thumbs-up from a man of culture approved and if you don't think it's enough, I'm gonna have to advise you to and play in the grass right now. Then, stop the video and go.

A success story game in which I think every fan of survival horror. Particularly, classic style Evil, resident, and Silent Hill titles needs to take a look and try it out.
I don't play all of my single-player games, so I won't working towards the extra endings, but I can say I'm glad and proud of having been able to go on this extraordinary journey from the rose engine publisher.
